World Book Day 2023

We are really looking forward to celebrating Wrold Book Day in Scoil Carmel tomorrow! Giving children and young people the opportunity to choose and own a book of their own is at the heart of World Book Day’s mission to encourage reading for pleasure. All children will receive a World Book Day book token in school tomorrow. Participating booksellers across Ireland will accept the tokens throughout March for one of 14 books on this years list, which you can see in the poster below. The list includes books suitable to all ages as well as a leabhar as Gaeilge "Rita agus an Dragún". For a closer look at the front covers you can watch this video too:
