Vetting Applications

Parents or guardians wishing to work or volunteer in Scoil Carmel will need to go through the Garda Vetting process. Applications are submitted electronically in a process known as e-Vetting. Before this can commence, all applicants must manually complete the NVB1 Vetting Invitation form and submit it to Scoil Carmel.

Please see the steps involved in beginning the e-Vetting process:

  • Complete all sections of the NVB1 Vetting Invitation form

  • Please click on the NVB1 form - print and fill out

  • Bring this completed form to Scoil Carmel and provide 2 forms of identity

  • At least one form of identification must be photographic

  • There is a points system for verification where 100 points must be reached

  • Please click on the sliding scale  where you can see see how different forms of identification are weighted
